Children in Need Ballymena funding information session
The Charity supports groups working with disadvantaged children and young people across the UK, and hopes to increase its presence in the local area with the meeting.
An information session will be held from 11am – 1pm on Monday, April 10, in the Braid Arts Theatre where BBC Children in Need staff will welcome potential applicants, and be on hand to talk through ideas and proposals for funding support.

Hide AdBBC Children in Need already funds around 200 projects in towns and villages across Northern Ireland with over £9million hard at work to help disadvantaged children and young people.
BBC Children in Need supports projects that work with disadvantaged children and young people aged 18 years and under living in the UK affected by: illness, distress, abuse, or neglect; behavioural or psychological difficulties; disabled children and young people and those living in poverty or situations of deprivation.
Fionnuala Walsh, Interim National Head for BBC Children in Need Northern Ireland said: “BBC Children in Need is already delivering some great work in the local area. However, we know that there are more groups who could benefit from our help. I’d urge those interested to get in touch and book their place.”
