Abusive to police after urinating at electricity box
Damien Arthur McCaughley, whose address was given to the court as William Street, Lurgan, admitted indecent behaviour and assaulting a constable on March 11 this year.
Craigavon Magistrates Court heard last Wednesday that around 12.40am McCaughley was seen by police urinating at an electricity box in Edward Street.

McCaughley became aggressive and attempted to strike a police officer.
A solicitor representing the defendant said he had developed a bit of an alcohol problem and he was also on medication at the time.
He explained McCaughley had been at a local bar with his cousin for a few drinks.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said the defendant’s alcohol problem was becoming concerning and was now causing public difficulties.
Judge Bates decided he was going to get a pre-sentence report on the defendant and therefore adjourned the case until May 13 so that it can be prepared.
