Council services severely curtailed
All refuse collections are suspended for the duration of Wednesday (January 14) due to the adverse weather conditions.
Anyone with a bin due for collection today is asked to instead leave it out for collection on Saturday (January 17).

Hide AdHowever, three civic amenity sites have been reopened at Pennyburn, Strathfoyle and Glendermott Road, and it is hoped that the Brandywell site will reopen later today
All cemeteries are closed to the public except to facilitate funerals today.
All street cleansing services have been suspended for the duration of the day.
The city’s parks remain open, but members of the public are advised to wear suitable footwear for the weather conditions, and to be mindful of health and safety.
