'˜Don't come here expecting to cause trouble' warning to fans
In an appeal before the Irish Cup semi-final clash, PSNI Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “We have seen sporadic incidents of disorderly behaviour at recent matches in the town, therefore our message ahead of this weekend’s game couldn’t be clearer - don’t come here expecting to cause trouble.
“Anyone found to be engaging in reckless, disorderly or criminal behaviour will be dealt with appropriately and we will actively seek banning orders for anyone brought before the courts.
“We welcome the support of all Irish League clubs in sharing this message and encouraging fans to show their support in the right way.”
