Hide AdSolicitor Declan Boyle said his client's detection came nine days before points were due to come off his licence.
CRUTCHES
He said Hanna , who appeared in court on crutches, suffered from major mobility problems and his car was essential in getting to and from hospital appointments.
"He will suffer undue hardship if he is disqualified," added Mr Boyle.
Hanna was fined 250 by District Judge Mr Paul Copeland who said he was using the "court's discretion."
