Works completed on retaining wall in Top of the Hill
Mr Reilly said: “Constituents raised with me their concerns about a retaining wall which presented a very real danger to children and others playing at the end of Eskaheen View.
“This area affords people one of the best views over our city and therefore it is natural that children would want to play there. Indeed, the wall in question had goalposts painted on it.

“I therefore spoke with the Council’s Environmental Health team who in turn contacted the owners of the wall – the NI Housing Executive.
“I am delighted these safety works have now been completed – and very much welcome the erection of the ‘four blockwork buttresses’ now in place following these representations.”
