Karate fundraiser helps aid local mental health charity
The group raised over £630 by completing an endurance test in which they did as many sit-ups and push-ups as they could manage in ten minutes in the Biko sports hall at Ulster University.

Hide AdThanking the group for the funds raised, Patrick McDonald, income generation officer at Niamh said “All too often the topic of mental health is overlooked when groups are deciding which charity to fundraise for. Niamh delivers a wide range of mental health services in the Coleraine area, particularly through our student counselling service at Ulster University so it is great to see local students showing their support for our local mental health services.”
