RUGBY: Larne fall to second defeat on the spin
Ryan Garrett’s men had gone into the weekend clash aiming to bounce back from a 16-0 reverse at the hands of Coleraine.
That result had knocked the Glynn outfit off top spot in the league table, but any hopes of a big response to the disappointment against the Bannsiders were banished with a thumping display from the County Fremanagh outfit.

Hide AdIt signalled Larne’s fourth loss of the campaign and despite still occupying second spot, the chasing pack are closing in on them at a rapid pace.
They will be keen to build on their 21 points from eight matches, aware that Coleraine, Randaltown and Enniskillen all have three games in hand.
And after Saturday’s setback, just four points separate Larne and fifth-placed Enniskillen. It all makes for an enticing home clash against Randalstown come December 5.
