Ludo Lusi Lusum by Echo Echo
Ludo Lusi Lusum is an original new work for young audiences directed by Ayesha Mailey and performed by an ensemble of five dancers and will show from June 13 to 21.
In a wacky world of a runaway bride owl, a supermodel leopard and posse of preying mantis, the performers’ fascination with the animal kingdom is brought to life through dance, theatre, music and song.

Performances are on Saturday, June 13, 11am and 4pm; Sunday, June 14, at 3pm; Saturday, June 20, at 1pm and 6pm and Sunday, June 21, at 3pm.
The piece had two sold out performances last November and has been reworked for this new run of shows. It was originally made with a small grant from City of Culture Legacy Fund last year but totally unfunded project this time, created mostly by goodwill and voluntary time of local artists and collaborators.
A tour of performances is lined up for Belfast in autumn and there is an invitation to Sweden in winter. There is also a good chance this show will tour widely nationally and internationally.
