The range of musical instruments that you can buy with the scheme is vast; from guitars, keyboards and violins, to pianos, saxophones and banjos, as well as instrument cases, amplifiers, strings, reeds, sheet music and delivery or set-up charges.
Commending the scheme Jilly said: “Take it away is a fantastic scheme enabling our artists of tomorrow. Getting started as a musician can be an expensive business, not least of all the purchase of instruments. Thanks to this scheme, aspiring musicians, who may under normal circumstances rule out music based on this hurdle alone, are one step closer to their vision. The gift to be able to create art and music should be accessible to everyone regardless of background.”
