Behaviour described as ‘fairly ridiculous’
A young Lurgan man was sentenced to 120 hours community service last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for disorderly behaviour on January 5 this year.
He was Daire McIlroy (19), Glenravel Drive, Lurgan, and he admitted the offence.
The court heard that at 1.20am in Church Place there were a number of people in the road and they were asked to move on.
McIlroy was abusive to police.
Imposing the community service District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said it was fairly ridiculous behaviour.
