The Mayor and Deputy Mayor are to become members of ‘The Friends of Gibraltar’ at a cost of £30, Mid & East Antrim Council’s Operational Committee have agreed.
A registered charity devoted to the history and heritage of Gibraltar - with which Ballymena has been twinned since 2006 -‘The Friends’ also have an interest in fostering links between the Rock and the UK.
