Members of the public are being advised to avoid the Upper Hightown Road entrance of the Cave Hill Country Park following the discovery of a suspicious object.
In a statement this afternoon (Wednesday), a Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesperson said: “The entrance to the Cave Hill Country Park, off the Upper Hightown Road in north Belfast, has been closed while police examine a suspicious object.“Members of the public should avoid the area.”
