Zip line event for Meningitis Research

Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF) is looking for people from across the province to zip their way across the River Lagan in Belfast on Sunday 17th April. Are you brave enough to step up to this breath-taking challenge for a good cause?

Participants will set foot on a crane which will then be raised to an exhilarating 150ft in the air! You will witness the most amazing birds-eye view over the city before stepping off and whizzing 1000ft across the river, reaching super speeds of up to 40mph! With the wind in your hair and the water below, you will experience a unique rush of adrenaline!

MRF Fundraising Officer, Karen Dunlop commented, “This is a popular challenge and one of very few opportunities to experience a zip-line of this size in Northern Ireland! We’d love a great team of people to step-up, face their fear and give it a go for MRF this year! Having taken part in this challenge before, I’d encourage everyone to experiene it at least once in their life. The hardest part is taking that initial step off the crane but then you feel incredible as you fly at speed across the water.”
