Lurgan residents are enjoying a new wave of flexibility and calm after discovering health and yoga classes.

Louise Headley runs Turquorise of the Sea Health and Well Being, offering classes and workshops for individuals and community groups - specifically aimed at improving health and developing life skills.

“I run yoga and chair yoga classes, relaxation and gentle movement workshops, stress relief/management programmes, and health and nutrition workshops - to name a few,” said Louise, who has 20 years’ experience working with children, families, older people and community groups - as well as business organisations.

“The organisation aspires to prevent ailments and illnesses - for example, obesity and diabetes - and will assist people as they deal with current health issues.”

She runs yoga classes in Bleary Community Hub on Wednesday evenings and in Mount Zion House on Thursday evenings - each from 7-8pm - as well as classes in Brownlow Community Hub on Tuesdays from 10-11am.
