Transport Minister Michelle McIlveen visited Bellarena Train Station on Thursday to view progress on the

second phase of the Coleraine-Derry/Londonderry Railway Renewals Project.

Representing an investment of £46.4 million funded by the Department of Regional Development and the European Union “Connecting Europe Facility”, Phase 2 comprises the construction of a passing loop and two new extended station platforms at Bellarena along with installation of a new signalling and telecoms system.
