Coleraine gameis a six pointer

Glenavon’s trip to Coleraine on Tuesday night is a six-pointer.

The Bannsiders sit behind Glenavon in seventh place.

“They lost a bit of ground at home to Dungannon on Friday night so Tuesday is a key game for both clubs,” says Glenavon coach Nigel Law.

“With the win over Institute on Friday night we go up to Coleraine with a chance to extend the gap.

“They have beaten us twice this season so we know how difficult it will be.

“We will have to raise our game because if we play the way we did the last time we went to the Showgrounds then we will be beaten.

“The next few weeks are a bit of a crossroads for us in terms of the league and Irish Cup.

“It’s similar to last season ahead of the cup tie at Ballinamallard.

“These are the type of challenges as a player and a coach you want to be involved in.”
