Cooper agrees contract extension with Glenavon
There was good news for Glenavon last night as Joel Cooper agreed an extension to his contract.
The Ulster Young Player of the Year penned a new three year deal that will keep him at Mourneview Park until 2019.
“Thanks to the manager for giving me the chance at the start of the season and with each game I gained more confidence,” said Joel. “Playing in the same team as the likes of Kevin Braniff, Daniel Kearns and Eoin Bradley had help me a lot.
“Finishing third and getting into Europe is brilliant, but now we want to add the bonus of winning the cup.
