There were unsavoury scenes at the end of the Danske Bank Premier League match at Stangmore Park on Friday night as both teams left the pitch at the end of 90 minutes.
A scuffle broke out at the edge of the pitch with Glenavon manager Gary Hamilton appearing to come off worse as a melee ensued in front of both sets of fans.
It took several minutes for the players to eventually make their way to the dressing rooms.
In added time referee Colin Burns had shown Glenavon’s Conor Dillon a red card for talking back after not leaving the field of play. The defender had taken a blow to his face, their was blood streaming from his nose and it was later confirmed he had suffered concussion as a result of the blow.
