The Feel of Play

Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company are to perform their exciting and fast paced production, The Feel of Play at a series of venues, including schools and community venues around the city.

Two of these performances are specifically for members of the public, old and young, and are free of admission. This is the third series of performances of The Feel of Play and it arrives just in time for the beginning of City of Culture 2013.

Created and premiered in 2012 with support from Legacy Trust UK and Derry City Council, this acclaimed site-specific production promises an energetic performance that explores the rules and patterns of team sport exercises and training drills. Watchers will feel the energy, focus and excitement of a game but there is no goal to aim for, it is what the dancers do within the created structures and frame that matters.
