PHA programme to tackle type 2 diabetes

A new programme to tackle the increasing prevalence of type 2 diabetes has been launched by the Public Health Agency. The programme has been developed as part of Northern Ireland’s approach to providing innovative services which have a focus on prevention and has been supported by investment from the transformation fund.

Lurgan pupils learn to ‘bee safe’

Over 610 pupils from 17 primary schools across the Craigavon area, including St Francis’, recently learnt how to ‘Bee Safe’ not sorry at an innovative safety event focusing on the prevention of accidents and raising awareness of personal safety.
