Mosside WI’s AGM

President of Mosside WI, Mrs McMillan, welcomed Mrs Agnes Kennedy, Executive member for Lower Bann as visiting chairman to conduct the AGM.

Doreen Patton read the Annual Report and Betty Scott the Financial Statement.

Thanks was expressed to all on committee for their contribution and the members for their monthly support. Thanks were also expressed to Moyle Council for their support for craft and open evenings.

Then we had the presentation of awards with Ruth McQuitty winning the Ruby Anniversary Trophy for six flakemeal biscuits and Janette McQuitty the Craft Cup for a knit Arran Cushion and the Full Attendance 
vase.

The Jubilee Cup for Federation Competitions was presented to Eileen White and Beth Lindsay and the Ann Logan Friendship Trophy to June Simpson and Margaret McMillan.

The Dalriada Vase for our own competitions was presented to Eileen White and the new trophy the Annie Todd bowl to Doreen Patton who won the most competitions at Ballymoney Show.

Lastly the Gaston Trophy was presented to Margaret McMillan.

The next meeting on Wednesday 8th October at 8pm is Food Safety in Catering by a representative from Moyle and local ladies are invited to join us.
