North of Ireland Family History Society workshop

The May meeting of the Ballymena Branch of the North of Ireland Family History Society will be a Workshop and Member’s night.

This meeting is being held on Thursday, May 29 at 7.15pm in the Braid Arts Centre. Entrance fee is £1 to members and £3 to non-members.

The meeting will compliment the recent DNA event in the Braid as there will be results of DNA testing as a presentation and a question and answer session to follow.

A number of visitors will demonstrate how to search and use genealogy websites to help further your research.

There will be many rare books, maps and other information on display for everyone to pursue.

If you are having difficutly tracing your ancestors then have your questions prepared and members will be pleased to help you on the night.

If you would like to learn more about DNA testing or any other problems you are having to overcome that ‘brick’ wall and new websites to pursue,
