30 jobs to go

A TOTAL of 30 workers at a Carrick-based company have been told they face redundancy just days before Christmas.

Global logistics firm Kuehne-Nagel, which has operated from the borough for five years, has informed employees that the operation is to be transferred to German company Geis Dietzenbach.

The decision will leave staff, mainly from the Carrick, Islandmagee and Larne areas, with the option of either relocation to Germany or redundancy.
