60 bedroom hotel planned for William Street area
PLANS have been lodged to knock down a three storey retail unit in William Street in Londonderry in order to construct a ten storey tower that will include a 60 bedroom hotel.
Planners have received an application for a development “adjacent to and inclusive of 25 William Street and 3A Prince Arthur Street.”
The proposal is to demolish an existing three storey retail unit, funeral directors, garage and stores in order to construct a new mixed use development.
The new development will comprise of a 60 bedroom hotel, a retail unit, a butchers/deli, a restaurant/hot food takeaway and a taxi rank dispatch office.
