Among the range of items on offer are an AA service sign from the 1950s, which should create an interest to collectors of vintage vehicle memorabilia.

A beautiful dining table in mahogany with spare leaf and in very good condition is also up for grabs, as are numerous collectible tea and dinner services and branded ornaments.

Old prints, paintings, clocks, antiques and bric-a-brac always draw a large gathering of knowledgeable and discerning purchasers and those who cannot stay for the auctioning of their prospective ‘snip’ can leave a bid with auction staff.

Already three oils have been donated of local scenes, presumably by local artists.

Admission is by catalogue, purchased at the door, for a modest 1.
