Cannabis plants worth £250,000 seized in Dungiven
The rural property on the Larch Road near Dungiven, Co Derry was discovered by police on Saturday.
Detective Chief Inspector Colin Gillis, from the PSNI’s Crime Operations Department, said the raid was carried after a tip-off.

Hide Ad“At this stage I would estimate the street value of the cannabis plants recovered at around £250,000,” he said. “No arrests have been made at this stage, however, officers remain at the scene carrying out a detailed forensic analysis of the premises.”
The officer urged anyone with information on drug dealers to come forward. “I would like the people involved in the use and supply of illegal drugs to know that Northern Ireland is not a safe environment for them to spread their misery and destroy people’s lives,” he said.
