Committee tees up driving range work

The council’s Planning Committee has appointed Golf-Tech Ltd to carry out upgrade work at Ballyearl Driving Range.

On Monday evening (February 10), committee members were told that only one tender had been received for the supply and installation of an automated tee system at the Doagh Road facility.

Councillors agreed an initial order for five right hand tees and two double tees at a cost of £25,200. The remainder of the order, for a further six tees at a cost of £19,200, was approved “subject to evaluation of the initial order of equipment at the end of the summer season.”
