Cookstown 100 traffic diversions

MOTORISTS should expect traffic disruption at the weekend due to the Cookstown 100 Road Race, which is to take place on today, Friday 26th April and Saturday 27th April.

The races will commence today at 12.30hrs and Saturday at 10.15hrs.

here will be traffic disruption throughout the two days.

There will also be a Vintage Motor Cycle Ride around the Course on Thursday 25th April 13 and Friday 26th is a practice day and roads will be closed at 11.30am with races commencing at 12.30hrs. Roads will open again at approx 9.30pm.

On Saturday 27th April roads will close at 9.30am and the first race from 10.15am. The roads will open again at 7.30pm.

The following roads will be affected - Orritor Road, Gortnacross Road, Tullagh Road, Mackenny Road and Drumearn Road.

Police are advising that they will be enforcing any No Parking Restrictions for the two days and any vehicles left will be removed.
