Court appearance
A 51-year-old man has been charged with disorderly behaviour and assault on police following the unrest at Guildhall Square on Monday evening during the Olympic Torch Relay.
He is due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Wednesday, June 27.
As per normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
For your guidance, the charge is believed to be in connection with the arrest of a man near the Guildhall in Londonderry on the evening of Monday, June 4.
