Covenant tripto Donegal

A TRIP to the Ulster Covenant ‘Walking the Colours’ exhibition in Letterkenny and a performance of Jonathan Burgess’ ‘The Home Place’ in St Johnston Orange Hall has been organised by Derry City Council for this Friday.

Ulster Day will be celebrated on September 29, commemorating the Ulster Solemn League and Covenant and Women’s Declaration which was signed in 1912 by 400,000 people in a vast demonstration of public opening.

But what do we really know about it?

As part of their Good Relations strategy, Derry City Council’s Community Relations section are running a 1 day information event on Friday, September 28, which will incorporate a visit to the Donegal County Museum in Letterkenny to visit the Ulster Covenant Exhibition and ‘Walking the Colours’ exhibition.
