Possession of crowbar in public
A 21-year-old man has appeared before Londonderry Magistrates Court charged with possession of an offensive weapon, namely a crowbar, and assault.
John Meehan (21), of Northland Road, was accused of committing the offences on September 9 and September 11.
An investigating officer told the court he believed he could connect the defendant to the charges.
Meehan was released on his own bail of £500 and banned from consuming alcohol or having any contact with the injured party.
He will appear in court again on October 15.
