Returned for trial on 31 sex charges
A Londonderry man has been returned for trial on a total of 31 sexual offences.
The man, aged 24, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his two alleged victims, appeared before Londonderry Magistrate’s Court, where he was charged with 22 counts of rape, two attempted rapes and seven sexual assaults alleged to have taken place on dates between December 30, 2007 and January 1, 2011.
Granted bail, the accused was returned for trial to the Crown Court on May 19.
