We’ve been asking you to tell us which one gets it right and why it should be named the best.
The entries have been received, and today we reveal the shortlist.

Hide AdThe one that eventually gets the most votes from our readers will be crowned the Times Chip Shop of the Year.
It could be the delicious, crispy batter and the locally-caught fish that make you love your chippy so much.
Or maybe it’s the quality of the potatoes and the fact that when they’re made into chips, they’re kept fresh and cooked to order.
Maybe you love the banter you have with the staff and enjoy the place’s quirky touches.

05 Maloney’s Chippy, 17 Monkstown Village Centre, Newtownabbey.
06 New Mossley Chippy, New Mossley Shopping Centre, Unit 2 Ballyearl Drive, Newtownabbey.

The winner with the most votes will then be announced and presented with their prize.
To vote, simply fill in the nomination form in your copy of The Times and post it to the address given in the newspaper.
To nominate by text, text LATCHIP and then a space, followed by the number of the chip shop you wish to vote for along with your name, address and postcode to 65550.
The deadline for nominations is Monday March 23 at 10am.
