Established newsagents to close
It will be the end of an era in March when Newell’s newsgents in Queen Street shuts up shop for the final time.
Owners Trevor and Sandra Newell plan to retire at the end of March having run the shop since 1983.
Trevor’s father Sammy opened the newsagents in 1971 - the same year as decimilisation.
