Faith will never let the spirit sway

Like a soothing ointment that heals the wounds

It’s the value of words we daily speak

It’s so rewarding to pray and meditate

And the face of the Master seek.

Your words leave an impact on yourself

Try keeping them tactful soft and sweet,

‘Tis said ‘we really never know’

Which ones we’ll even have to eat.

No word from the father ever grows old

Faith will never let the spirit sway,

Let’s turn to his book and be thankful

That each promise is fresh today.

The grace which helps us to overcome

Produces a harvest from seeds you have sown,

And keep you steadfast along life’s journey

With courage to brave the far unknown.
