Fell down stairs and couldn't go to court
A woman had fallen down stairs and could not attend court, Banbridge Magistrates Court was told last Thursday.
Shanice Amy Mulready (24), of no fixed abode, faces a number of offences and breaches of community orders.
A solicitor representing the defendant said she had been involved in an accident and she had assured his office that she would be able to provide medical documentation.
He added that she had fallen down stairs and had gone to her GP. Mulready is charged with making a threat to kill to two females and one male on December 25 last year, two common assaults, disorderly behaviour at Railway Street, Banbridge, preventing an electricity meter from recording and damaging the meter.
At a previous court she had been given 100 hours community service and two years probation for offences involving theft, going equipped for theft and criminal damage.
The probation service have brought her back to court for breaching the order by failing to comply with the hours of work and failing to attend probation appointments. All matters were adjourned until August 25.
