Largymore RBP holds installation of officers

THE officers and Sir Knights of Largymore Star of the North R.B.P. 198 recently held their installation of officers for the incoming year in the Cushnie room in the Imperial Grand Black Chapter headquarters Brownlow House Lurgan Co. Armagh.

The Worshipful Master of the preceptory, Sir Knight Roy Lawrence, gave a warm welcome to the assembled members and especially to the visiting district officers from Largymore R.B.D.C. No. 9 - the Worshipful District Master Sir Knight Stephen Law from Hillhall Golden Star R.B.P. 1074, the District Treasurer Sir Knight Kenny Gardiner from Sprucefield Link and Chain R.B.P. 228, The District Lay Chaplain Sir Knight Robert Orr from Elijah’s Chosen Few R.B.P. 871 and Sir Knight William Braithwaite Past Master of Pride of the North R.B.P. 244. Sir Knight Lawrence also welcomed the preceptory’s own district officers Sir Knight Peter Lindsay District Registrar.

The Worshipful District Master Sir Knight Law presided over the installation of the officers for the ensuing year assisted by the Deputy District Master Sir Knight Pedlow.

Gerry Sproule, Lay Chaplain, Sir Knight James Martin, Registrar, Sir Knight Edward Watterson, Treasurer, Sir Knight Will Murdock, 1st Lecturer, Sir Knight Dennis Hall, 2nd Lecturer, Sir Knight Norman Hall, 1st Censor, Sir Knight Thomas Richardson, 2nd Censor, Sir Knight Dennis Watson, 1st Standard Bearer, Sir Knight Alastair Hall, 2nd Standard Bearer, Sir Knight Ryan Donald, Foreman of Committee, Sir Knight Stephen Reid.

The Worshipful Master Sir Knight Lawrence thanked the installing team for the able manner in which they carried out their duties and invited everyone to stay behind after the meeting for supper.
