Man arrested following Cookstown hit and run accident
The incident involving two cars, occurred shortly before 9pm on Friday night (5th December) on the Fairhill Road at its junction with the Westland Road.
The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his neck and back.

Hide AdThe driver of the other vehicle was not at the scene when police arrived.
A man aged 22 was later arrested on suspicion of a number of driving offences including driving whilst unfit. He has since been released on bail pending further police enquiries.
Inspector Daniel Walsh has appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either car being driven in the area in the time leading up to the collision to contact officers in Cookstown on 101.
