Mayor’s ladies night big success
Lisburn City Council Mayor, Councillor Margaret Tolerton extended her thanks to everyone who supported and attended the event which was held in partnership with Lisburn Chamber of Commerce.
Funds were raised through ticket sales and ballot ticket sales with prizes on offer.

Hide AdThe prizes included an Oasis travel voucher and a luxury hamper of make-up and skincare essentials.
Mrs Tolerton, said: “There was a fantastic response to our Ladies Night event and we had a really enjoyable time.
“I would like to express my thanks to Lisburn Chamber of Commerce and to all the retail units who attended my fashion night.
“The event was packed out and I have had wonderful feedback, which is good to hear and so importantly we raised much-needed funds for my Mayoral Charity, the Lagan Valley Diabetes Fund.”

Hide AdMs Hilda Francey, Diabetes Specialist Nurse at the Lagan Valley Hospital and representative for the Mayor’s Charity, said: “I would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Mayor.
“The evening was a fantastic success and we are very grateful to everyone who came along and supported it.
“The Mayor has pushed every boundary possible in her efforts to raise as much money as possible to help and support in the work of the Lagan Valley Diabetes Unit, which does so much in the Lisburn community and which provides medical care, help and support to sufferers of the condition.”
