MEA Borough Council’s Community Festival Fund to reopen
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has approved the opening of a second call for the Community Festivals Fund for 2015, which a specific focus on Christmas and St Patrick’s day events.
The budget available for the scheme is £45,000 and the festivals must take place before March 31 2016. The council will run advisory sessions with potential applicants. A council report noted that due to DCAL sending out its letter of offer later, fewer applications were received this year.
