Minor road schemes

MINOR improvement schemes are to be carried out in two areas of Ballymney Borough in the next financial year - 2013/2014, the Roads Service have said.

During their annual presentation to the Council last week, officials revealed that the B93 Killagan Road at Drumadoon Bridge will have a safety barrier installed at a cost of £30,000.

And hard landscapging at a cost of £37,000 is to be carried out on the A26 at Frosses Road at Dunloy Crossroads which will enhance visibility.
