NRC open days at a campus near you

THE Northern Regional College will hold open days and evenings next month for full-time and higher education courses.

On Monday, March 1 from 6pm to 8pm students can visit the Antrim and Coleraine campuses; Tuesday, March 2 is the turn of the Magherafelt campus from 10am to 8pm and the second night for the Coleraine Campus from 6pm to 8pm.

Wednesday, March 3 is Ballymena campus open day from noon to 8pm and the Larne campus is open from 6pm to 8pm. On Thursday, March 4, Newtownabbey campus is open between noon and 8pm and the Ballymoney campus from 6pm to 8pm.

The Coleraine and Ballymoney campuses are providing information relating to specific subjects; please check the NRC website www.nrc.ac.uk for further details.

Open Day at the college is an opportunity to learn about the exciting options on offer.

Students can now chose from a range of 700 courses which include subject areas such as Business and Administration, Hospitality and Catering, Travel and Tourism, Sport, Engineering, Science, IT, Media, Performing Arts, Social Care, Early Years, Hair and Beauty, Built Environment and Art and Design and all training provision offered by the college.

The events will also allow parents and careers teachers to ask questions and explore the extensive study options and qualifications available.

Trevor Neilands, director and chief executive at Northern Regional College, explained: "By attending open days at NRC, it is the first step towards exploring your career options and qualifications which are available on your doorstep.

“At open days, young people will discover that they do have choices, with plenty of opportunities which will lead to employment or higher education."
