‘Overwhelming’ support from Asda
THE Marie Curie Sixmile Fundraising Group has thanked the customers, management and staff of Asda Ballyclare for their tremendous support with the recent Daffodil Day collection.
A grand total of £1,015 was raised at the store, and Colin Ferguson from the group was overwhelmed by the generosity of customers and the support from Asda staff.
He said: “We really didn’t expect such a magnificent figure to be raised. I would like to thank everyone for helping enable Marie Curie to support so many people as a result of this generosity. Also a big thank you must go to the team in Ballyclare for their assistance, and last but not least, the band of volunteer collectors who gave their time to help us.”
