Ballycarry group on the look-out for old photos from the village
There are plans to have large photographs placed in the village highlighting the past of the community, while an exhibition will also focus on village history through artefacts and photographs.
The Community Association already has an archive of old photos which was established in the 1990s through a grant from the Ulster Local History Trust Fund.

The project hopes to attract previously unseen photographs to be added to the archive. Those for consideration for enlargement need to be in focus and of good quality, and it would be helpful if the photo can be dated and names of those featured can be identified as well.
Anyone who has any good quality photos from bygone years which they think would be of interest can contact the group via its Facebook site, or by sending details and an email to [email protected]
