Coronavirus: UUP MLA self-isolating after testing positive

John Stewart took to social media last night (Wednesday) to confirm he is now isolating.

Commenting on Twitter, Mr Stewart said: “Sadly I have tested positive for Covid-19 today.

“I felt really unwell on Monday, booked a test on Tuesday and got the result today. Very fast and efficient.

“I am feeling ill, head pounding and really fatigued.

“I have completed track and trace/StopCOVIDNI App and I am now self-isolating.”

Meanwhile, South Antrim DUP MLA Pam Cameron has also confirmed that she is self-isolating after being notified that she was in close contact with someone who has tested positive.

Posting on social media last night, Mrs Cameron said: “The ‘ping’ you don’t want from your phone. I am now self-isolating for 14 days.”
