Council ‘removes dogs from property’ in Glenarm

A number of dogs have been removed from a property in the Glenarm area, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has said.

A spokesperson for the local authority said: “[The council] is investigating lines of enquiry in connection to offences under the Welfare of Animal Act (NI) 2011 and the Dogs (NI) Order 1983 (as amended).

“Anyone with information which could assist in Council’s investigation should contact Animal Welfare on 028 25 633134, quoting reference NR/2020/4599.”
