Police officers save person from burning house in Castledawson
Officers from Magherafelt Local Policing Team were at the scene of a house fire in the New Road area of Castledawson on Saturday (October 10th).
At around 10.36pm, officers were on patrol in the area and came across a house fire with a person reported as being on the premises.
Officers entered the premises, brought the householder to safety, administered First Aid and evacuated neighbours pending the arrival of NIFRS.
There is no suggestion, at this stage, that the fire was anything other than accidental.
