Police seize 70 bottles of alcohol and fireworks from Coalisland youths
Police seized around 70 bottles of alcohol and a number of fireworks from youths causing annoyance in Coalisland on Halloween night.
The haul, which included dozens of bottles of blue WKD, Buckfast, spirits, beer and cider, was made in the Cornmill area of the town on Saturday night.
A police spokesperson has since said they cannot confirm if any arrests were made or whether the youths involved were cautioned in relation to the sting.
An online post said: “Police seized alcohol and fireworks in Cornmill Car park, Coalisland tonight after reports of youths causing annoyance in the area.”
