RNLI Flag Day this Sunday

THE Royal National Lifeboat Institute will be holding their annual Flag Day this Sunday (August 31).

Meanwhile on Sunday, September 23rd the Ballymoney Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society will also be holding a fundraiser for the RNLI.

The event is being called “A Service of Thanksgiving” and is to be conducted by the Reverend Canon G.E Graham at the Dunluce Parish Church in Bushmills.

Music is to be provided by “Cantemus” at the event and takes place at 6:30pm as well as free entertainment tea is to be served following the proceedings of the service.

The RNLI was founded March 1824 and gladly accepts all donations great and small to further their cause of saving lives.

Pat Crossley, Hon Secretary of the RNLI explained: “The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea, and RNLI Ballymoney Branch will hold their Flag Day on Sunday, August 31st.

“Please give generously as lifeboats are supported entirely by voluntary donations”.

Meanwhile members would also like to invite you and your family and friends to Dunluce Church, Bushmills to partake in the events and donate whatever you see fit.
